Embarrassing Toddler Moment # 357

Why is it that Brendan has the knack for saying something inappropriate at exactly the wrong time? This afternoon we were grocery shopping a packed Wal-Mart. Just as we were turning off the main aisle onto a frozen foods aisle, Brendan announces, "Mommy, you not wearing any panties!" So of course everyone on the main aisle and everyone on the frozen foods ailse heard it. We have no idea what possessed him to say it--we don't use the word panties and he would have no idea if I was wearing them or not. So we told him that it's not nice to talk about panties. His response, "PANTIES, PANTIES, PANTIES!!!!!!!" Of course it didn't help that Kyle wouldn't stop laughing at it.
